Thai shares jump 4.4% on Fed rate cut, referendum news (MCOT - TNA English News)

BANGKOK, Aug 20 (TNA) - Positive investment sentiment was seen in Thai shares Monday as the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) closed 4.43 per cent higher in response both to the good news from the upbeat Constitutional referendum vote on the political landscape, and upward movement throughout regional markets in the wake of an unexpected US interest rate cut to ease tight credit.
